The Computing College at FBSU, in collaboration with the FBSU ACM Student Chapter and the Microsoft Student Program (MSP), celebrated the Computing Day on January 4, 2016. An exhibition was featured, showcasing the students' Final Year Projects in the departments of Computer Science and Computer Engineering, where senior students presented their final yearlong project work. The purpose of this event was to celebrate and raise awareness about the field of Computing.
Prof. Abdallah Malkawi, University Chancellor, inaugurated the event in the presence of Dr. Mousa Btoosh, Assistant to Chancellor for Academic affairs, and College Deans and faculty members. The exhibition received widespread attention from different stakeholders, including the University's students, faculty members, and high school teachers and students in Tabuk region. Visitors were impressed by the students' work and expressed keen interest in adopting some of the presented projects. The event was concluded by presenting prizes to the best three projects.
